What Affects Wheeled Loader Value?
Tyre Condition and Specification
Tyres are one of the most expensive and most scrutinised elements of any wheeled loader sale. A full set of good loader tyres on a mid-size machine costs £8,000–£18,000 — buyers price worn tyres in aggressively.
Tyre specification matters too: solid/foam-filled tyres (used in recycling, waste, and demolition where punctures are a constant risk) are more valuable in those applications than standard pneumatic tyres. State clearly what type of tyre is fitted.
Bucket Specification and Condition
The bucket is the machine's working tool and its condition tells buyers a great deal about how hard the machine has worked. Cutting edge thickness, wear plate condition, and any cracks or weld repairs on the bucket are assessed. High tip buckets (which tip at greater height for loading trucks) command a premium over standard general purpose buckets in applications where height matters.
Quick Coupler
A hydraulic quick coupler — allowing bucket and attachment changes from the cab — adds value by broadening what the machine can do. Stated compatibility with the main coupler standards (JCB, Volvo, CAT, or universal ISO) helps buyers assess fit with their existing attachment fleet.
High-Flow Hydraulics and Third Spool
